Coffee, Vanilla, Sweetness&Bitterness
The new April LAB saké is the Coffee-Vanilla, made by macerating coffee and vanilla in a mild saké (kijo-shu). It is characterized by a harmony between the aroma of coffee and the gourmet and sweet aspects of vanilla. Some parts of the saké are aged in oak barrels, adding more depth and complexity to the aroma. The sweetness of the kijo-shu saké envelops the bitterness of coffee to offer a well-balanced product between the different flavors.
